Every request is personally reviewed and approved by me. Nothing is priced and no payment is taken until your pairing has been approved.

Professional photos of my breeding cocks and hens are shown with the bloodline and key information for each bird. Open any bird to view its pedigree before you select it, then request a specific cock-and-hen pairing — or simply tell me which bloodlines you're interested in.

Pricing

Youngsters start at $500.

Custom mating youngsters start at a minimum of $500 per youngster. Final pricing varies depending on the specific cock and hen selected.

After I approve the pairing and provide the final quote, a $500 non-refundable reservation fee is required to hold your spot for the breeding season. The reservation fee is applied toward the final purchase price. Once the youngsters are weaned and selected, the remaining balance is due.

You may request one or two youngsters from an approved pairing. The exact terms or pricing benefit for reserving two youngsters will be confirmed with you directly.

The Process

From approved pairing to the bird in your loft.

Once your reservation is approved, you receive a private tracking link where you can follow every update from the approved pairing through delivery.

Eggs are laid and candled for fertility.

Youngsters hatch and are banded.

Your youngster is selected and the remaining balance is finalized.

Your youngster is shipped to you with the original pedigree.

Breeding Terms & Disclaimers

Read before you request

Manual approval required: Every custom mating request is personally reviewed by me. Submitting a request does not reserve a pairing and does not create an order. Requests may be declined for any reason, including breeder availability, age, health, or condition.
Pricing after approval: Custom mating youngsters start at a minimum of $500 each. Final pricing depends on the breeders involved and is quoted only after I approve the requested pairing. Any pricing discussed before final approval is not final.
$500 non-refundable reservation fee: Once your pairing is approved and quoted, a $500 non-refundable reservation fee holds your spot for the breeding season. The reservation fee is applied toward the final purchase price of your youngster.
Nature decides the rest: Breeding is never guaranteed. A pair may not lay eggs, eggs may be infertile, or youngsters may die. If an approved pairing does not produce, your reservation may be transferred to another approved pairing during the same or following breeding season, or kept on the books for a future approved pairing. The reservation fee remains non-refundable.
No guarantee of sex or color: I cannot guarantee the sex or color of any youngster produced. Nothing on this page should be interpreted as a promise of a particular sex or color.
Selection process: Once the youngsters are weaned, you will be shown what the pairing produced. Your youngster is then selected together with me. Customers reserving two youngsters select according to the terms of their approved reservation.
Final payment before shipping: The remaining balance is paid through our secure checkout after your youngster is selected. Birds are shipped only after the balance has been paid and cleared.
Shipping & pedigree: Every youngster includes its original Barrera Family Loft pedigree. Shipping is arranged separately and paid by the buyer.
U.S. residents only: Custom mating reservations are currently available to United States residents only.
